Hekimoğlu Trabzon Sportif A.Ş. was founded in 1986 by the residents of Düzyurt village, located in the central district of Trabzon. It was originally established under the name Düzyurtspor, with green and orange as its official colors.
For many years, our club competed in Trabzon’s 2nd Amateur League. During the 2004-2005 football season, we achieved an undefeated championship in this league and secured promotion to the 1st Amateur League. In the 2006-2007 season, our club demonstrated exceptional success by advancing to the Trabzon 1st Amateur League Play-Off group. Our performance in the Play-Off matches garnered widespread admiration, earning praise from fans and neutrals alike. The following year, we strengthened our management team and rejoined the league.
Over the years, our club achieved significant milestones in various competitions. In the 2011-2012 football season, we emerged as Trabzon Amateur Champions and advanced to the Regional Amateur League. In our debut season, the team finished in third place in the league. A year later, with one week remaining in the season, the team secured promotion to Turkey’s Professional 3rd League. Competing in Group 2 of the 3rd League, we achieved another historic feat by advancing to the 2nd League (Category B) the same year, earning the distinction of being “the first village team in Turkey to reach the 2nd League.”
Despite this remarkable achievement, our journey in the 2nd League lasted only one year, and we returned to the 3rd League the following season. In the 2014-2015 football season, the club took steps toward corporatization, changing its name to Baysal İnşaat Düzyurtspor A.Ş., with company shares distributed among the board of directors.
Following the 2017-2018 football season, Baysal İnşaat Düzyurtspor A.Ş. became part of Hekimoğlu Döküm Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, a leading industrial company in Turkey and Trabzon. The club was renamed “HEKİMOĞLU TRABZON SPORTİF A.Ş.” and adopted new official colors: navy blue, red, and white.
Currently, the club is chaired by Celil Hekimoğlu, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Hekimoğlu Döküm Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi.
